Review: COSRX One-step Pimple Clear vs Moisture Up Pads

After the Klairs and Neogen review, here's another brand that is highly raved by both international and Korean bloggers: COSRX! Some background information of the brand: COSRX is a compound of COSMETIC and RX. RX has meanings of Prescription; Countermeasure, Treatment, Disposal; Solution.(a commonly used word in pharmacy) Many bloggers have mentioned that they preferred the moisture pads over the pimple pads as it removes dirt but at the same time, provides moisture to the skin. Before trying out the moisture pads, I have used up 2 tubs of the pimple ones and they are really a skin saviour! Using the pimples pads in the morning on a daily basis, I took around 2 to 3 months to finish 1 tub(70 pads)! After using up my 2nd tub, I purchased Klairs skincare and decided not to repurchase it but I felt that my skin was not clean and smooth when I didn't use the COSRX pads. Note: I do not use a cleanser in the morning.

Directions: After cleansing, wipe the embossing side gently over the skin. Reverse to the softer side and replace the lid tightly to make sure the pads stay wet and clean.

Features:

For the pimple pads, the product claims to cleanse, exfoliate and treat breakouts with pre-moistened pads. Designed to wipe away excess dirt, oil and purify clogged pores with the daily natural BHA treatment pads. Leaves skin feeling clean and smooth.

For the moisture pads,  it is a daily pad that contains hyaluronic acid to replenish moisture for all day hydration. Regular use of pads will smooth the skin's texture, providing a perfect canvas for flawless makeup.

-feels more refreshing after usage as it does not provide much moisture to the skin

-perfect for hot and humid weather

-personally prefer this as I have combination skin with mild acne

Moisture Up

-has a citrus scent

-will use this on days when I feel sick/my skin needs more moisture

-recommended for dry weather

-is pricier by around SGD 2 as compared the pimple pads

Overall, I will buy both of these pads and switch them up according to my skin condition. For those who live in a country with humid climate, I would recommend the pimple pads as it does not leave the "moisturized" feeling. After using the pads, you will see that it turns yellowish and that is dirt on the face! Once, I used the pads after I got off the plane and there was SO MUCH dirt!! These pads are definitely worth the hype and I notice great results after using them consistently!
