Review: Dearpacker Madagascar Clay Mask

August 12, 2017
After watching JoanKim's (youtube) review on these masks, I bought 2 Dearpacker masks on Hermo during a sale! DearPacker name came from "dear-backpacker" or "dear-pack-er"(people who use mask packs often). These masks have BEAUTIFUL packagings!! No instructions in English are provided, so I had to search for the directions on the website that I bought the products from. I will only review one mask today: the Madagascar Clay Mask.

I've used up 2 Innisfree volcanic pore clay mask and 1 of the mousse. I always thought that the only con of the product is that it made my skin too dry. Also, it cracks up if the mask is left on for more than 15 minutes. I live in a hot and humid country so I was extremely excited to try out the Dearpacker clay mask!

Dearpacker Madagascar Clay Mask 50ml [Made in Korea]AMAZING packaging

It claims to tackle these problems- large pores, oily skin, fine dust in the atmosphere and recently troubled skin. "After 10 minutes, you will feel your skin to be as smooth as a porcelain doll." The product also claims to be: clears waste products, low irritation, calms skin, exfoliate, tighten pores and reduce sebum. The concept of "Madagascar clay" came from native women in Madagascar using Masonjoany mask to protect their skin for over 1500 years and the brand remade the traditional mask. It does not dry up or become powdery like other clay masks and it also contains centella asiatica extract which is known for calming the skin. The product does not contain paraben and mineral oil etc, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
Directions: Apply all over the face and wait for 10 minutes before removing it with warm water.
It has a mild herbal scent that makes me feel calm.

[After 10 minutes] The mask did not crack!
Skin feels smooth, clean pores
Although this mask is more costly, it performs much better than typical clay masks. RECOMMENDED!!
